Hi, I’m Katherine, a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee and Professional Clinical Counselor Trainee pursuing my M.A. in Clinical Psychology at Antioch University Los Angeles. I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating relationship challenges, divorce and separation, career stress, midlife transitions, remarriage and blended families, aging, and other significant life changes. I also hold a Ph.D. in English from Harvard University, where my work focused on narrative trauma and identity formation, perspectives that inform my interest in how our experiences and relationships shape the stories we tell about ourselves. My therapeutic approach integrates Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and family systems perspectives to help clients better understand relationship patterns, strengthen communication, manage difficult emotions, and develop new ways of responding to life’s challenges. I strive to provide a supportive and collaborative environment where clients can gain greater clarity, reconnect with their strengths, and move toward meaningful and lasting change.
